Health Care

Healthcare in the United States can be very costly. All registered international students enrolled in credit hours and all research scholars are required to purchase The University of Tulsa's health insurance plan unless proof of comparable coverage is furnished by you. It is ultimately the responsibility of the student to purchase and maintain health insurance that meets all university and State Department requirements. The University of Tulsa's health insurance plan meets all university and State Department requirements. A brochure that describes the plan is available in the Office of International Student Services. Additional  information about The University of Tulsa's health insurance plan can be found here.

All TU students can visit The Alexander Health Center for treatment of minor illnesses and injuries as well as counseling.

To waive The University of Tulsa's health insurance plan, go to Aetna Student Health.
