What To Bring

We RECOMMEND the following items for your apartment:

  • The furniture of your choice. Though your apartment comes equipped with all of your major kitchen appliances, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and laundry washer/dryer, you will need to provide all the living/dining and bedroom furniture.
  • Vacuum Cleaner. We do provide a vacuum cleaner in the clubhouse/Student Activity Center for check-out, but it most convenient and will be used more often if you have a vacuum of your own.
  • Cleaning supplies. Keeping your apartment clean is important.
  • Entertainment Equipment. Please bring all the electronic gadgets and equipment you desire. Please keep in mind that you have neighbors, and we expect all residents comply with quiet hours but also to be courteous to one another at all times.
  • Computer/Desk. Our apartments all have wired and wireless internet, but to be most productive as a student, a desk as a designated place to study in your apartment is highly recommended.
  • Shower Curtain. Please do not shower until you have one, as you would be held accountable for water damage.
  • 3M Command Adhesive. When used properly, this product can save your walls and the cost of painting. Please note that whatever you use on your walls, you will be responsible for their condition when you check-out.
  • What NOT to Bring: It is important to note for safety and community standards please leave the following items with your family and friends at home. Having any of these items will put your housing status in jeopardy:

  • All Grills.
  • All Candles.
  • All pets except fish in a 20 gallon tank (max). West Park residents may apply to have a pet. The application and approval MUST come before the pet is allowed.
