Mission

The University of Tulsa Graduate Review, an electronic journal which provides graduate students at the University of Tulsa the opportunity to increase their career development experience in the areas of publishing and editing, welcomes the submission of scholarly articles, poetry, and fiction and non-fiction short stories by graduate students at the University of Tulsa.  Scholarly articles as well as poems and short stories may focus on a number of topics ranging from scientific research projects to art history, but they must be original and created solely by the author(s).  Submissions must also contribute to The University of Tulsa Graduate Review in a positive, educational manner that is beneficial to the community at the University of Tulsa as well as to other readers; submissions should be of a nature that is suitable for journals or scholarly publications.

The University of Tulsa Graduate Review also publishes a database record about its graduate students.  Students, whether or not they submit a manuscript to The University of Tulsa Graduate Review, may submit a list of titles of works published, titles of works in progress, awards, and other noteworthy accomplishments.  Students may also submit abstracts for presentations at regional, national, or international conferences.

If works are published in another publication, and are deemed to be property of that publication, then they must not be submitted to The University of Tulsa Graduate Review, unless permission is granted by that publication.
