  After completing my BA in the spring of 2009 I had the fortune of interning with the United States Commercial Service in Munich, Germany.  The Commercial Service is an agency within the US Department of Commerce that assists American companies looking to do business internationally.

  2L Lesley Smith discusses her summer internship at Williams, a Tulsa-based Fortune 200 energy company.

  I could not have asked for a better 1L summer.  This summer I interned in the legal department at Williams; the summer was fast-paced, busy, and full of learning opportunities.  During my first year of law school I learned to “think like a lawyer.”  At Williams, I learned how to think like an in-house lawyer.

  1L John Andrew shares his experience working as an intelligence analyst for the U.S. Army before coming to law school.

  Greetings!  For those of you whom I haven’t met, I am John Andrew, and I just finished a stint as a Signals Intelligence Analyst for the U.S. Army.  I’ve done this job off and on for the past 15 years or so, and I’m now a 1L here at the University of Tulsa College of Law.

  Intelligence analysis is the gathering of raw intelligence information and placing it together into something that will assist either commanders on the battlefield or our government in its operation.
