Nichole Saunders interned with the Sierra Club this summer and shares her story.
Hello from beautiful San Francisco! I am one of the lucky few to have landed a full time internship in the national headquarters of Sierra Club’s Environmental Law Program.
Summer is a unique time for the College of Law. Without the students, the corridors are quiet; the Pit is empty; the vending machines are full (a happy thing); and the classrooms have a distinct echo. As Dean of Student Affairs, I really miss the students – their smiles, their crazy cellular ringtones, new fashions (often perplexing), and even their aversion to reading emails from me.
This week nearly 3,000 students in Tulsa Public Schools and Community Action Project summer classes will encounter a young, energized and diverse Teach for America corps of teachers in training from across the country. Janet Levit, Dean and Dean John Rogers Endowed Chair of The University of Tulsa College of Law, could not be more excited.
