Originally, I had my heart set on staying in Houston and was all set to attend law school there. However, after visiting TU for Pre-Law Day, I realized that the atmosphere at TU matched what I had experienced during my high school and undergraduate career. I really liked that the professors took a genuine interest in the students and took the time to ask about their students’ lives (and learn everyone’s names!)- I sat in on a class at a different law school and the professor did not know any of his students’ names! I definitely did not want to be in an environment where I felt the professors were not approachable. Also, all the potential students I met were very supportive and did not come across as the cutthroat, book-hiding type. And the last, and maybe biggest reason I decided to attend TU Law was the amazing support from April Fox!
