ABA releases 2012 employment data

TU College of Law performs above national average in several categories

The American Bar Association Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar released data on law graduate employment outcomes for the class of 2012.  The data covers the employment status of the 2012 graduates of ABA-approved law schools nine months after their graduation (February 15, 2013).

The University of Tulsa College of Law performed above the national average in several key categories:

  • 91.7% - TU Law overall employment rate
    (national average - 82%)
  • 65.5% - TU Law full-time, long-term employment rate in positions where
    bar passage is required (national average - 56%)
  • 13.4% - TU Law full-time, long-term employment rate in JD Advantage
    positions (national average - 9.5%)

TU College of Law is ranked 28th nationally for full-time, long-term positions where either bar passage or a JD is an advantage and 53rd nationally for full-time, long-term positions where bar passage is required.
