Disposal of Surplus Items

If you have surplus items that are of no further value to the department, you must notify the Director of Purchasing Services to initiate the disposal process.

Read the Disposal of Surplus Items Policy and Instructions for detailed information on what needs to be done before the items can be picked up.

If the surplus items are computers, you must notify Client Services (IT) so the hard drives can be removed.

After Purchasing and/or Client Services have completed their tasks the Physical Plant will dispose of your items. This is a chargeable service and a request for service must be submitted online.
